Welcome to the interview Priyansh.

Hi, Thank you for inviting me.

Hi, how are you?

I am good, how are you?

I am fine. Thank you. So thank you for agreeing to join us today. So to begin with, Would you like to give a little introduction about yourself who you are and where you from?

Yeah, so I am Priyansh Lodha, and I am a high school junior at Jayshree Periwal International School in Jaipur. I am 16 years old, and my hobbies are entrepreneurship and I am also an avid filmmaker, and video gamer.

That`s very brilliant, Thank you. Okay, so before moving on to some serious questions. I would like to play a fun trivia game. Would you mind?

NO. pls go ahead.

Okay So what are the three words, you would use to describe yourself?

So I didn`t actually put these together. But it would be sleep deprived dreamer.

Okay If you would write a book about yourself what would you name it ,what would the title be?

I`d probably name it "How the greatest did it", something like that?

That`s nice. Okay, so the next question, if you had a magic wand, three things you would like to change in this world.

So, I`d make this world a lot closer, like, you know, travelling. Travelling is a big problem, like going from one place to another takes a lot of time. And it also deprives us of a lot of opportunities. So I`d like to make it a smaller and closer place.

Okay, let`s move on to the next question. So you have a startup of your own know as Stock early, right??

Yeah.

So I would like to ask what made you? What intrigued you about the stock market? Like how did you learn about it ? and what did you learn about it?

So I`ve been very, you know, very eager to learn about finance business, from a very young age. My dad is an entrepreneur, and I`ve been learning from him ever since I was a kid, So these things have always intrigued me. And when I was around 14, or 15 years old, I started reading about the stock market. And, you know, great investors like Warren Buffett and all. So I realized that in India, especially in India, that the children don`t have any financial knowledge. They don`t know, they aren`t taught this in school, and they don`t know how to manage the personal finance, what stock markets are and how cryptocurrency works and things like that. So I decided to build the startup stock early, where we basically curate content on topics related to stock market, personal finance, trading, etc. so that the kids who are based in India, they can gain more financial knowledge.

That`s a very excellent answer. Thank you. So the next question I`d like to ask is, as a high school student, there`s a lot of academic pressure, right? So how do you balance your venture and your academic life?

So it`s obviously very difficult because, you know, the I am in grade 11. And I have a lot of schoolwork. But one thing that has helped me is that my school also encourages us to do things out of the class, and they encourage us to take up these ventures, grow our extracurriculars. So that has helped me a lot. Other than that, it`s basically time management, you know, to do things like this, to play sports, and to do all those other things out of your class you will have to manage your time efficiently.

Definitely Time management is very essential. Okay, so the next question is, how do you generate new ideas, you know, like being an entrepreneur??.

What happens with me is that a lot of times, I am just doing something and I find a problem in that. Or you know, I am just sitting and I figure out, wait, that`s a problem that I can solve. So I just note down the solutions I have to that problem, or I just note down the random business ideas that I get in a piece of paper. And overtime, if I think about that I research and if I feel like that, that is something I can work upon, I try to build a, bit something, around that.

Nice idea. Okay, so the next question I would like to ask is, is there a formula in becoming a successful entrepreneur?

So I don`t think I am qualified to answer that yet. But I think if I put in consistent hard work, and you know, believe in myself, over time, I think I`ll be able to achieve what I want.

Okay, nice. that`s a really good answer. The next question is, how do you approach risk in your career? You know, being a young entrepreneur, there are a lot of risks, right? So how do you deal with it?

So one of the key advantages of starting at this age, and going into these things is that all of my basic needs are already being taken care of. So I don`t have that Big risk. And the only way that I have right now is, I just need to manage my academics besides this. So for that if you plan the things out, manage your time properly, you will be able to do that.

Brilliant Thank you. Okay, so the next question is, what is the biggest challenge you faced while setting up your own venture?

So I think the biggest challenge I faced is growing a user base. So we`ve been trying for over a couple months, and we are slowly, but steadily getting there. But growing, our user base has been the biggest problem. And that is the biggest challenge that we have right now .

Okay, The next question is, as you said, about time management, it`s very essential, right?

So, how do you manage your time for like leisure activities??.

So what I usually do is that I pick some time out on my weekends to do things like go and meet my friends or play sports. And I just try to pick out some time, like a time gap on a weekend so that I am not working all the time, and get burned out. That`s why I keep some time aside for leisure activities.

So you keep a Me Time, You have a Me time ?

Yeah

Okay. So the next question is, what is your favorite aspect about being an entrepreneur?

So, I say that my favorite aspect about being an entrepreneur is that I get to work for myself, and whatever I want to do, I can do that. Whatever decisions I want to make, I can make them. So having power is, I think, the best part about being an entrepreneur,

Being the boss of your own company, right?

Yeah.

Okay. The next question is, who was your constant support in your life, like you have a company of your own. So who was your support?

I don`t have a single person. But my parents and my friends have helped me a lot. They`ve constantly supported me throughout this journey. And they still do that. They still provide me insights , they still tell me where I am going wrong. And what I need to do and they always keep me motivated and telling me to keep going.

So was there a time you know, you were like, I can`t do this. I can`t take this pressure .Was there a time like that?

So luckily, I haven`t felt that till now. Things have been going smoothly, and I am very invested into this. But there could be a time somewhere in the future. But till now, I haven`t felt that.

Nice. So could you please tell us about your upcoming projects??.

So I`m actively working on two different projects right now. The first one is an app called Students Squares where basically, the students can go on and attempt revision questions and tests. And in reward of that, they will get coupons and vouchers of the local business. So this way the local businesses get marketing and they can increase the amount of customers they have, while the students get a motivation and an incentive to study. So that is the first thing. And the second thing I`m working on, is a website, which is like one place to go for all the dog Owners , you can get information about how to train your dog. And you can get personal consultation, you can get the access to best VET in your city, and stuff like that. These are the two main projects I`m working on.

That`s really brilliant, actually, I love it. Okay, so the so the next question is, what according to you, one should be skilled at to have a successful startup?.

So, I think the most important quality every entrepreneur should have is that they should be a sales man. And the second thing is that they should be able to converse with people, should be able to put their idea out, and you know basically be able to tell people, how they can provide a solution to their problems. You need to put your idea out, you need to sell it. And that`s the most important part, even if you have like a really good product, if you`re not able to market it, it won`t work.

So like, according to you, what do you think you need in a business, you know, to market your ideas? You have very good idea, but you need a team, right? So like, how do you think is a main person in that team??

I think there should be a few people who are very invested in the idea, very motivated to work with that. And besides that, they should always also have some selling skills, they should be able to converse with new people at any time. So if you have these two qualities, I think anyone in the team, like even a graphic designer can help and if you have these two qualities, I think you`re good enough.

Thank you And as I studied your LinkedIn profile, you have a company of your own, but you also do video editing and filmmaking and stuff. So do you find it difficult to you know, do different things at the same time, balance your company, and you know, do filmmaking and stuff?.

So film making and video editing are my hobbies and I do that, too. You know, I do that for pleasure. So if I have some time, on a weekend, I go out and shoot something, and I love to create video content. And I`ve been doing this for almost two years now. So it doesn`t really feel like work. And I actually enjoy it a lot.

Brilliant. Okay, last but definitely not the least question. Could you give us some guidance or tips to the aspiring entrepreneurs out there who would like to start their own company?.

So I think the most important advice I could give is that, take it, if you have and if you feel like you have an opportunity in front of you go out there and try it. You know, have no regrets. Whatever you think you can do, you can always do better than that. So always take the opportunities you have and go and fulfill it.

That is brilliant. I really loved the answers you gave. It was very inspiring for me as well. It really builds up confidence, you know, in young people. Thank you it was really fun interview.

Thank you. I had a good time talking to you. Thank you for inviting me.
