Hey, how are you? I`m Good. Thank you.

Okay, Great. So I'm so happy to have you here. It's so nice to meet you. Before we start off, how about you just introduce yourself. Okay. So yeah! Hi everybody. Thank you so much for inviting me, for the opportunity itself. And how do I introduce myself? Well, I am Hasini Laxmi Narayan . I’m an eighth grader, I’m 13 years old. I am the founder of the First Step, which is a nonprofit organization, which I started back in 2020 during the pandemic. And talking about the organization, we that's me, along with my team, that's a group of 15 children. We aim to inspire, motivate and empower children. And that’s pretty much about my very own initiative, which I have taken and then we also have a website where people can watch, read our blogs and many more other stuff like that. We post inspirational content, we produce inspirational content. So we work on the journal of inspiration basically. And apart from that I'm a freelance writer for me in this collaboration. And you know, I'm a young journalist and also I'm at speed. So yeah, that's about all I can say. That's great. You're like a Jack of all trades. So I read on your profile that you said, like as one of, one of your big quotes, you said, and I thought it was really powerful. "I believe…all of us have the same neurology. If it's possible for others, it's possible for me." So can you tell me a little bit about that and your whole ideology behind those inspiring words? Right. So everybody in this world will not experience this. But one thing that everybody is gifted with is creativity, right? So they will have to use that in order to become successful. So probably the main motive behind the quote would be, seek inspiration from the people, for you think that everybody has the same neurology. If it is possible for them, it is also possible for me to become the same one. So that was the main motive behind it. Yeah. That's great. That's amazing. So I was just reading some stats and, thousand people are aged from seven to seventeen. Was there a reason between that age? Like do you have any, or did you just choose some number? Actually, it's actually like a true fact because I always believe that age is just a number. So you know, I am very much in the psychology leadership skills and stuff like that as my dad runs a leadership academy. Since like my childhood, I'm still in my childhood, but what I'm trying to say is like, since I was four or five, I've been listening to a lot of inspirational stories. So that's just one side, you know, probably. So I noticed that you said in your life you've constantly immersed with the concept of leadership, Is that probably one of the main components in what you want to pass on to the other kids that you're not just children, but like entrepreneurs that are blossoming with age? Is there a specific message that you want to get across besides empowerment and motivation? Message, probably be, because you know, I work on development, just creating a better generation that all children can work for their priorities. So probably the message I would try to pass on is, age is just the number, just don't feel insecure to speak your own priorities on probably what you would want to do. You know, just if you like feel the confidence that you would be successful in a particular field, just take an initiative, take a shot, and always remember learning is always fun and exciting. And you know, till the last day of your life, ensure you learn a lot because knowledge, when you get knowledge when you seek knowledge, that's where creativity is one, when creativity is one, ultimately you start focusing on your passion and when you start working towards your passion, you will be successful. So just learn a lot from each and every person you look up to and that would be it, enjoy life. Even though there's going to be a challenge or a failure coming, try to move on because I always say that there are no failures, only feedback. We need feedback. Just don't give up as you fail just once, otherwise all of the hard work that you have in the past go to waste. So those would be two things, whichever ones. Oh, that sounds inspirational. So, so your organization is definitely fulfilling a need of empowerment towards young entrepreneurs. Do you think that there's a lack of resources or programs that facilitate that type of empowerment? Like do you think? Like I won't say there is a lack, but it definitely will be helpful if you know, schools, other organizations can support us in this initiative and that's like, we started something called youth ambassadorship that, you know children from various schools, colleges association would be part you know, and join us on this mission of empowering and inspiring children. So you know it is yet to be launched. So no, I'm not going to give so many details about it. So be patient, but what I can just say is like we are working on it and if we would require any help, that would probably be as far as now you know someone who could like help us take this to the next functioning level that would probably be spreading this message or sponsorships, funding and stuff like that. But that's not exactly what we're looking for in the financial side, because I am doing this for a cost, so I don't want to get deviated going through money and stuff. So does my parents do, but probably you know, given that I would rather or see what they help, which we right now require would probably be some organization who can be a partner or support us in this initiative. That's you, the ambassadorship. Lack, I don't think there is any as far as now, as I am doing so many sessions with so many incents, several sessions with schools and colleges , with children , that should have been so I mean, I can easily probably get him connected with them. So that is no problem for me as far as now, but yeah, that should be it, but lack isn't the child himself/herself will have to accept that there is something she or he is doing, or they have to put their hundred percent effort to it. They want, I mean, you know, you can't force a child , into getting into something, which they are not even used to, which they don't like doing. Right. So if that child has true potential, then probably that's one difficulty, which I will have to invest in their minds. Yeah. That should be, Yeah. 100% you got to put your effort in everything, but I think that's, what's most beautiful about your organization is that you believe every child, every person has the potential, it's just, they haven't given the opportunity to showcase it. Exactly. So well your answers have been so thorough. Okay. You know, let's just end off on like a, a light-hearted question. How do you think your life has changed because of creating this organization? Because you know, would you say you're 12 or 13? 13 That is, yeah. You're very, very young. So already accomplished. How does your life differ from the traditional 13 year old or has? Okay, so starting off being an entrepreneur, right. after getting the feel. That's when I know that entrepreneurship, that term even existed according to mean, I know that my dad is an entrepreneur, but I used to tell them that's just a business. It's just making money, but it's not, it's way apart from that, that entrepreneurship, like literally teaches a person their own abilities, what they're capable of , how to come over difficult situations. And, you know, in this world, people take business as you know, as they don't have a choice, but you know, my dad took entrepreneurship as he was very much interested in it. So hearing this, that's how I got inspired into entrepreneurship. Like my life has you know, changed if I can say I proved myself wrong that it is possible for me, but nothing has also changed at the same time. I am the same little Hasney you know, I'm hanging out with my friends and stuff, but just that this is a whole other thing, which gives me happiness and you know, which I hope turns out one day to be successful in the future. Let's hope. And also just that it hasn't, it has changed like I have changed a lot for, you know, probably when I started, I was so lazy. Still, I am lazy. I won't say I'm not, but I've learned to complete my work at times, which is one good thing because you know time teaches you lessons one. Good quote which I can mention here then probably one thing which I change is I lack in self-confidence, which I have boosted out right now because I am so confident that you know, this would be possible for me to do, but if not, I'll still give my best that's one good thing, changed in. And thirdly I've learned how to manage my time. See, I sucked the time management even now I do, but you know, at least I learned how to prioritize my things and like, if I'm going to have an exam in on the week then I try to focus on my studies rather than, you know, focusing on my work. If I'm going to have an event coming close, then I would try to focus on that. But if I'm going off you know, the whole day I would try to go and spend time with friends , because you don't want to be a nerd just studying or do you want to be just on your laptops working the whole day? No. Right. So you know, I want to experience everything and I don't want to either miss my childhood as well, just being 13 year old. So yeah. But I still feel the same and I hope that doesn't change because I don't want to change, myself, like maybe you know, because I am a person who most of the time is like out of hanging out with friends or playing stuff like that. I can’t just sit in one place, you know, listening to the same people. That's the reason I love interacting with new people. Right. So that's like, you know, I don't want to change the whole thing into just me sitting in my laptop, working for, you know, probably the whole day studying, just sit in one place, not interacting with my friends at all. I don't want to change myself as I am into an initiative. So do my parents. And they ensure that I don't. So my life has totally changed of course, but I am the same as I am. Yeah. That makes no sense. But it does. It's like that probably. I hope you'll get it. No, I totally get it. You know, thank you so much for your time Hasini. Good luck with everything. We'll definitely support you and all your projects. If there's anything that you want to have be advertised or something, just let us know. We'll, we'll try to do whatever we can. Thank you so much for this interview. And I hope you have a great day. Bye Thank you. Bye.
